The company was developed by Simone Emmons, a German immigrant, who migrated to the United States when she was only 20 years old. Simone had the dream to dance, sing and create music. Her dream was very unique as she decided to dedicate her dancing and singing passion to Latin music. With the help of talented musicians and producers she recorded her own songs that were arranged into salsa. (To listen to her songs click here.) Simone is also a resourceful and dedicated business woman who wanted to give back to the artist community. Having worked for 14 years in the human resources field she decided to invest her time and efforts in developing and helping artists. In the year of 2000, she decided to create a portal where all Latin Artists could benefit from. She writes an online newsletter exposing famous, new and upcoming artists to her almost 10,000 music fans. She also books and tours these artists all over the world. Originally, the company started with only one web site which was SalsaArtists.com. The site was officially launched in March 2001. After successfully managing SalsaArtists.com for almost two years, it was finally decided to launch the other web sites as well. You can find them by visiting the following domain names:
